Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs Congratulates Matthew Walker and Catherine Stout on Their Promotion to Director

Tallahassee, Fla. October 2021 – Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. CPAs, a professional accounting, assurance, tax, and governmental consulting services firm, headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, congratulates Matthew Walker and Catherine Stout on their promotion to Director in the Assurance Services Department.

Matthew joined THF in January 2013 and has over eight years of experience in public accounting providing assurance and accounting services. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida State University. Matthew is very involved in the Tampa community. He is an active member of Emerging Leaders of Tampa Bay through the Greater Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. Through this organization, he has been involved with the Inclusion Group. Matthew has recently been named Vice President of the United Way Suncoast’s Young Leaders Society (YLS). In 2022, he will transition to Chair of YLS. Matthew is also a part of Tampa Connection class of 2021.

Catherine Stout joined THF in January 2015 and has over six years of experience in public accounting providing assurance and accounting services. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Valdosta State University. Catherine served as a Loaned Executive for the United Way Suncoast for the 2019 campaign year. She currently serves as a member of the Community Impact Committee, the Steering Committee, and is active in the Reading Allstars program with the United Way Suncoast.

Matthew and Catherine both operate out of the Tampa office. They are both Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA).
