DMJ Tax Partner Milton Howell Completes AICPA International Certificate

  

GREENSBORO, NC – DMJ & Co., PLLC, a North Carolina based CPA and accounting firm, is pleased to announce that Milton Howell, CPA, CSEP, of DMJ & Co., PLLC (DMJ), completed U.S. International Tax: Core Concepts, a program by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The course is a comprehensive learning program geared to help global finance and accounting professionals navigate the highly complex world of international taxation. The certificate program is made up of a three-part series to take you from mastering the essential principles and concepts to building and applying your knowledge.    

Milton Howell, CPA, CSEP joined the firm in 1994 and is a Tax Partner in DMJ’s Greensboro, North Carolina office. Milton earned his B.S. in Accounting from East Carolina University and is a member of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA) and the AICPA. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greensboro Estate Planning Council, is the Chair for the NCACPA Tax committee, the Chair for the NCACPA State Tax Subcommittee, and a graduate of Leadership North Carolina. Milton’s focus is on the tax needs of closely held businesses and their owners, and extending to their estate planning, personal trusts, and investment entities. Milton regularly writes and reviews articles for local, regional, and national publications on tax matters and spends significant time monitoring current tax issues and legislation.
